GwinArmy.com > Comic-Con 2006

Well Comic-Con 2006 has come and gone and we had a blast! Got to hang out with old friends, make some new friends, eat a lot of good food, and generally had a kick ass time.

We want to thank everyone who came by to lend their support and say hi...we couldn't do cool stuff like Gwins if it weren't for you! Big thanks and Gwin hugs to our artists who were there including Maz, Voltaire, Alex Pardee, Kruse, Charlotte Link, and Christie. We also have to give a shout out to Greggo and his Funko buddies who aside from being awesome themselves and making awesome toys, stopped by several times to brighten up our day :)

Now we don't know if this is true, but we heard that people were actually turned away on Saturday. Can you believe that!? After waiting in the muggy heat for hours only to be told you couldn't come in! That's messed up. Comic-Con somehow needs an even bigger venue.

Here's some of the cool stuff we remember seeing at Comic-Con (please forgive us if we miss anything, we didn't get out of the booth that much!):
  • The Four Horsemen's new figures from their 7th Kingdom line - Mynothecean Soldiers!
  • Skelanimals - super cute little dead dog, monkey, cat, and bunny
  • 7' Jack Skelington that the Disney Store will be selling for $599...if only we had room
  • Several awesome new Qees, but especially the DIY Baby Qees that were only $8!
  • 15' Sock Monkey...what more could you want?
  • Flapjack's new Symptoms...great concept, size, and packaging!
  • Creatus Maximus Smart Bombs by Ken Lilly - what can we say? They are awesome pieces and we look forward to even more styles!

Like I said, we didn't get out of the booth that much, but here are a few pictures to fondly remember Comic-Con 2006 by...
