October Toys Unveils Gwin : Series 1
Penguins are the new monkeys.
LOS ANGELES - June 13, 2005 - Today October Toys officially unveiled their new line of vinyl penguins called Gwins. Series one features nine different artist designed penguins based on the Linux mascot, Tux, created by Larry Ewing and The GIMP.
Featured artists include: Mimic, Doktor A, Eric Treadaway, Nixon Scratches, idlechimp, and SpookyAMD. "We're really excited to be working with a fantastic group of designers and look forward to seeing what even more people can do with the basic penguin design," commented co-owner Ayleen Dority.
